Route overview
The "Adonis Flower Circuit" opens up the best-known part of the "Kleiner Fallstein". For the most part, the path is very easy to walk and especially suitable for visitors coming to the "Kleiner Fallstein" because of the Adonis flowers.
Wide views can be enjoyed as well as the forest of the nature reserve.
Along the way, a longer ascent as well as a corresponding descent have to be overcome.

Route description
From the new hiking parking lot in Hoppenstedt, the circular route "Adonis Flower Circuit" first leads north until you reach the slope path heading east.
From here the path leads up the slope, where you can pause and admire the botanical special features of the steppe heath vegetation found here. A railing prevents unauthorized entry onto the Adonis flower slope.
The path continues along a field until it meets the ridge path. Here you are back on the large circular route "Hiking connects", which you follow for about 1 km eastward.
At the western border of the "Kleiner Fallstein" nature reserve, you take the narrow natural trampling path heading south, which descends about 400 m over a short descent. Once there, you are rewarded with a wonderful view towards the Harz Mountains. A seat invites you to stay a while. You are again on the large circular route "Hiking connects".
Heading west, you walk about 1.2 km along the Adonis flower slope. On the path running parallel to the district road K 1342, the "Adonis Flower Circuit" leads back to the starting point in Hoppenstedt.
