Acacia Path

The nearly 2.5-kilometer-long Acacia Path begins at the parking lot below the vineyard in Scheyern. Here there are ample parking spaces available for hikers arriving by car.
The path takes us a short distance along a paved road past the island pond on the left. At the foot of the monastery hill, we can discover the monastery estate, Prielhof, to our right. Surrounded by fields and meadows, the Prielhof is the center and heart of the monastic agriculture.
Upon reaching the large oak tree, we continue our tour on an unpaved, slightly ascending path in the same direction. Where the settlement begins on the left, we come to a crossroads. Here we go right up the small hill and discover a bench under “Konrad's Linden.” From there, the route continues with a magnificent view of the beautiful landscape. Passing a livestock paddock, we reach a small acacia forest. Now the view opens onto the ponds, and a bench invites you to linger. The path then leads down to the Devil's Pond. From there, we turn right and follow the Benedictus Way along the ponds back to our starting point.
