From the dam, you will quickly discover a hilly landscape crowned by the impressive Reinhardstein Castle: what a romantic sight! Resting on its eagle's nest, it seems to challenge us hikers, as we have to circle the castle via steep paths. One ascent follows another: finally, the viewpoint "Napoleon's Nose" emerges. This rock outcrop protrudes from the forest and offers us, as a well-deserved reward, a beautiful view over the Warche Valley below. The hike continues spirally along the ridge, playing with the curves of the terrain.
A short break: it doesn't take long before the route meets the Warche via another path, a particularly steep one: welcome to the mountains! At the foot of the shore, the hike passes through a valley that narrows more and more. It becomes so narrow that the path disappears completely and you have to climb the hill to enjoy the view of the castle one last time.
