3-peaks route from Ottensheim to Linz

Starting from the Gasthaus Dürnberg, follow the Stamperlweg (3). After about 2 km, turn left onto the crossing road and now follow the Stamperlweg (3) in the opposite direction. Over meadows and forest paths, you reach the Hoher Dürnberg (549 m). Follow the forest path downhill and cross to the left at the forest edge briefly off-path to a row of trees that leads down to the road. Now follow hiking trail 11 uphill to the Köglerhof and from there over a short steep forest section to the Koglerauerspitz (685 m). Continue following hiking trail 4 and then hiking trail 5B (Pöstlingberg Gh. Freiseder). Past the Seerosenteich, you reach the Gasthaus Freiseder. On the left, a meadow path leads up to the road. Less than 100 m to the right, a path through the forest leads up to the Pöstlingberg, reaching it at the entrance to the Grottenbahn. From the viewing terrace above the basilica, you follow the Way of the Cross downhill to Linz to the Mühlkreisbahnhof.
