The 17-Herb Path is named after the hotel pioneer Adolf Seywald Sr., who passed away in 2004. He experimented with a herb mixture of 17 herbs in fruit brandy distillation and sold the results along with other products such as bacon, homemade sausages, apples, and plums as far as Kitzbühel and Bad Gastein. This was the foundation for the development of today's holiday facility.
