An easy walk ideal for the whole family with breathtaking views.
It is a very pleasant walk, highly recommended year-round on fine days. You follow a small path that starts from the Panoramica. After about ten minutes of gentle uphill through the pine forest, you reach a mountain pass that suddenly opens up a view of the Alta Valsessera and Monte Rosa. The path continues to climb gently with some hairpin bends, staying on the southern side of Monte Rubello. At the summit stands the oratory-sanctuary of San Bernardo, built starting from the 14th century to celebrate the victory over Fra Dolcino.
Magnificent panoramas of the Po Plain and the Alps, from the Maritime Alps to the Rhaetian Alps.
Our trails are open to everyone; however, if you want a guided hike you can contact a nature guide by writing to overalp@overalp.com or visit our website at the events section to check out the calendar of our activities.
