Roadbook
After starting the route in Saalbach, you begin with the Kohlmaisbahn up to the mountain station and the first trail, the Panorama Trail. Then you ride past Wirtsalm and Burgeralm to Tirol. Upon arriving in the valley, orient yourself by the inn called “Eiserne Hand.” Shortly after the inn, take the road uphill and go straight to the Pfaffenschwendt district, then continue on the gravel bike path to Hochfilzen. Once in Hochfilzen, follow the picturesque bike path to Leogang.
In Leogang, the next gondola ride with the Asitzbahn awaits. Here you are comfortably transported to the mountain station and then enter the Schönleitenweg – an uphill trail – back to Saalbach. To return to Kohlmais, follow the ski route and forest road to Thurneralm. Finally, depending on your preference, take the K-Line back down to the valley or take a wide detour on the trail, for example via the forest road to Spielberghaus and back to the center of Saalbach.
