A loop up to the Daone Pass, down to Preore and back up the valley along the bike path.
This difficult round trip goes from Pinzolo up the right-hand side of the Rendena valley to Daone Pass along dirt roads. The descent takes you through the villages of Amolo and Provaiolo and to the town of Preore. From here, you take the bike path back to the starting point.

Roadbook
From the Pinzolo woodland park, head along the bike path in the direction of Giustino. At the end of the path, cross the bridge and continue along the river on the dirt road. Continue on for 1.8 km until you see a bar across the road. Cross the road and turn left immediately. Continue along the sidewalk, followed by a steep, unpaved uphill to the paved road.
Turn left and continue along the bike path towards Bocenago, and turn left at a steep switchback 200m after the sign for the town border, then continue to the intersection with Via Belvedere. Turn left and continue on for 750m until another intersection.
Turn right. Continue on for 250m and then turn left. Continue along the paved road for 1.5 km until an intersection at a switchback. Turn left onto the dirt road. Continue along the dirt road, followed by a paved section into the village of La Val, where the climb ends and the paved section of road ends. Continue along the main dirt road for about 4 km.
After several hills, the road will again be paved, and 2 km later you will reach an intersection with another, wider paved road.
Turn left and follow the main road for 1.5 km until the Daone Pass. From the pass, descend along the main road for 1.9 km and then turn right onto a steep, narrow road. Continue on for 500m up concrete ramps and keep to the right at the intersection.
Continue on for another 950m and keep to the left at the intersection. Continue on for 100m and turn right at the intersection towards a field in the area of Amolo. Now continue downhill along a trail through the forest until a dirt road. Continue straight and then head down and to the right at the next intersection. Continue along the dirt road until an intersection with a paved road and turn left. Stay on the main paved road, which heads down through a series of switchbacks and then crosses a lengthy section to the Preore cliffs, where you will find the main highway (no. 53) that descends into the town below.
Turn right at the intersection with highway no. 34 and continue to the roundabout. Take the second exit from the roundabout and continue on for 300m. Before the bridge, turn right onto the bike path. Now follow the signs for Pinzolo for about 18.5 km.
