The Churburg in Schluderns is not only a worthwhile destination during the knight games at the end of August. It houses the largest private armory, and plenty of laughs are guaranteed during the guided tour. The route passes by the castle into the Matscher Valley.

From the train station in Mals to Glurns, then on the bike path to the water reservoir, then turn left and continue to Schluderns. Follow the signs to the Churburg and leave it on the left side. Continue along the road and go directly uphill through the "Kofel" farmstead to the castle courtyard. If desired, leave the bike for a moment and hike the steep but short path to the two ruins Ober- and Untermatsch. From the castle courtyard, continue along the road on the right to the Mühlhof. Here, turn sharply left and ascend to Matsch. From the center, two more bends uphill and then do not miss the left entrance. The forest road leads with a pleasant incline around Niederjoch, towards Spitzige Lun. The view here stretches far into the Matscher Valley, and in the other direction, the Churburg is again in sight. Then follow a few short connecting trails that are not particularly difficult but quite steep and narrow, so the route is not suitable for child trailers. At the Malettes
