This varied bike route impressively opens up the transition area from the Black Forest down to the Rhine Plain and into the Kraichgau. Along the route, there are numerous scenic and cultural details to discover that make the ride particularly worthwhile. The path first leads past the districts of Conweiler and Pfinzweiler via the Schwanner Warte. It then continues through Langenalb, the Pfaffenrot industrial area, and along the Ittersbach commercial area until reaching Weiler. Here begins a particularly picturesque section, nestled in blooming orchards and small fields and dotted with sights such as the picturesque Prankratius Chapel in Niebelsbach and the historic wine press in Ellmendingen. We cycle through this idyllic area all the way to Dietlingen before heading back up into the Black Forest. The villages of Gräfenhausen and Arnbach then guide us back and ensure a successful conclusion.

The marking does not impose any traffic safety obligation on the owners of the paths, the affected municipalities, forestry administrations, and the Central/North Black Forest Nature Park. Cyclists must be prepared for typical forest hazards and are responsible for accidents and falls. Vehicle traffic and temporary route closures, e.g. due to forestry or hunting activities, must always be expected. Warning signs from forestry administrations, hunting operations, or other warnings must be strictly observed. Mutual consideration is a matter of honor.Tips and suggestions
