Sellaronda – counterclockwise (green)
The Sellaronda is a ski round of the highest class. Winter sports enthusiasts can expect magnificent views of the snow-covered peaks of the Dolomites, long runs on moderately difficult slopes, and many stops at cozy mountain huts. When adding up the mountain lift ascents and the runs on the slopes, more than 40 km are covered in about 4 hours, but any number of lifts and slopes can be added. The ski round is signposted in both directions; this route follows the green marking and runs counterclockwise. The green route offers slightly easier slopes than the orange route running the other way around, but both ski rounds are easily manageable for average skiers with sufficient fitness. The slopes in the Sellaronda area are consistently very well prepared but can get slushy over the day with high visitor volume. On south-facing slopes, the runs can partially become slushy in spring.
