Magnificent ski route in a breathtaking mountain setting - the Gebirgsjäger ski route leads from Corvara through the heart of the Dolomites
You can start the route from almost anywhere. We recommend starting in Corvara. From here, the route goes via Passo Campolongo to Arabba. Then continues to the Marmolada. On the queen of the Dolomites at 3,300 meters altitude, World War I is still present today. At the mid-station there is a museum showing old relics of the Gebirgsjäger. This is followed by a 12 km long descent back to Malga Ciapela. On a ski trail you continue to Sottoguda. From there, take the ski bus to Alleghe in the Civetta ski area. Partly on ski slopes, partly by ski bus, you reach Fedare with a fantastic Dolomite panorama. Descent on wide slopes to Bai de Dones and then by ski bus up to the Falzarego Pass. By cable car up to Lagazuoi, where several old tunnels can be visited. Now follows a descent of the superlative - the tour leads 8 km down to Armentarola. From there, you take a horse-drawn sleigh about 2 km to St. Kassian. Then there are only a few slopes and lifts left until you reach the starting point
