    Author’s recommendation

    • At the Rosemi-Alm, it’s recommended to leave your bike and walk the final 2 km to the Friedenskircherl. From this peaceful chapel, you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the Schladminger Tauern, the Dachstein massif, and the Grimming.
    • Plan breaks: Along the route, many huts and inns invite you to stop for a relaxing break and enjoy regional specialties.
    • E-mountain bike: With electric support, the tour is also suitable for less experienced bikers. There are several e-bike charging stations along the route. Their locations can be seen on the map and in the elevation profile, making it easy to plan your tour and possible charging stops.

The tour starts at the Sport Mandl parking area in Gröbming and first heads south towards Moosheim, crossing the Enns bridge, then turning left towards Michaelerberg and right onto the Enns Cycle Path R7 towards Pruggern. This section is pleasantly flat and quiet – perfect for warming up. In Pruggern, cross the Enns at Bierfriedl and continue on the north side of the river towards Aich.

In Aich, the sporty part of the tour begins with a right turn. From here, climb uphill to Assach and further to the impressive Assacher Scharte, where you are rewarded with stunning views over the Enns Valley. Once you reach the asphalt road towards Stoder, turn left and tackle the final section up to the Stoderzinken. At the top, cozy inns await – perfect for a well-deserved break with great views. The return follows the asphalt road downhill back to Gröbming.

Cycling is only permitted from April 15 to October 31 – daily from 2 hours after sunrise until 1 hour before sunset.
