Krumvíř -> Terezín -> Čejč -> Hovorany -> Nenkovice -> Želetice -> Násedlovice -> Krumvíř -> Terezín -> Čejč
We start the journey for the history of the Kyjovsko region in the smaller wine village of Krumvíř. Here we can visit the first museum on our route, which is dedicated to village life. We find a collection of Haná-Slovak folk costume parts, decorated eggs, pottery, and agricultural tools. We ride along the Moravian Wine Trail to the village of Terezín, which was founded in 1774 and named after Empress Maria Theresa. There is another museum focused on the history of winemaking and rural life. The same cycling route takes us to the village of Čejč, where our first president Tomáš G. Masaryk learned the blacksmith trade. At the Church of St. Vendelin, we connect to the Kyjov Wine Trail, along which we ride to the village of Hovorany, then turn left and gradually ascend alongside the vineyards to the natural monument Hovorany Meadows. These steppe meadows on steep slopes are among the largest of their kind in southern Moravia. After resting, we arrive at the cycling paths crossing and continue right along the Mutěnice Wine Trail, which accompanies us for nearly four kilometers. Then we leave it and travel on an unmarked road to the village of Nenkovice with a brick bell tower decorated with outdoor sgrafitti. Here we join the Kyjov Wine Trail again, which leads us to Želetice. Here we can visit the Village Museum with exhibits that our ancestors used in daily life. Beyond the village, we join the Ždánka cycling path, along which we reach the village of Násedlovice, where we can visit the last museum on our route. The museum has an exhibition of a village chamber and a collection of historic costume parts. We return along the field path back to Krumvíř.
