The route starts by the shores of Lac de la Moubra, heading straight into the Moubra forest. The opening kilometres follow wide, smooth forest tracks, ideal for warming up and settling into a steady rhythm right from the start.
The trail then winds along flowing gravel paths as the gradient gradually increases, gaining elevation at a steady pace. The climb leads towards Lac des Miriouges, where the more open setting makes a good spot for a short break. From here, the route continues on fairly smooth tracks, crossing meadows and forest edges that keep the pace nicely varied.
As you climb higher, the landscape opens out into alpine pastures, with wide views over the Rhône valley and the surrounding mountains. The route then gently climbs back towards Crans-Montana, following alpine paths and small local roads below the resort.
The final kilometres pass through Crans-Montana on quiet roads before returning to Lac de la Moubra, the starting point of this short and varied loop.
