A winter biking trail of ca. 16km around the Levi fell.
This ca. 16km long winter trail takes you around the Levi fell, offering varied terrain and views.
The starting point of the trail is at the left side of the front slopes in Levi centre, near Kid's Land. The winter trails are marked with blue signs and signposts.
The trail is a narrow winter trail in the forest, leading east to Draivi. About 1,3km onwards from Draivi you get to a lean-to shelter, a good spot for making a fire to enjoy a break. From there the trail continues towards the south-eastern slopes (lift 7B) and onwards to South Point.
South Point is the end of the winter biking trail. To get back to Levi centre, head west towards the intersection of Levin Ympärystie and Levintie and turn right to the footpath towards Levi. You will reach Levi centre after cycling on the footpath for about 5km.
Remember to check the opening hours of cafés and other services along the trail beforehand. Here you can also check when the trails have been maintained.

The starting point of the trail is on the left side of the front slopes in Levi centre, near Kid's Land. Cycle to the end of the car park towards Kid's Land, and you will see the signs for the winter walking and biking trails. The winter trails are marked with blue signs and signposts. To help you stay on the right trail, there is also orange flagging tape around the trees. Black and yellow flagging tape is also used further along on the trail.
Shortly after the starting point the trail crosses the cross-country skiing track and continues as a narrow winter trail in the forest. The terrain is varied, offering uphill and downhill as well as more flat areas.
Once you get to Draivi and the bottom of ski lift number 6, the trail continues by the side of the forest on the left side of the slope. About 1,3km from Draivi you get to a lean-to shelter, a good spot to make a fire and enjoy a break. From there the trail ascend towards the Utsuvaara area before descending to the bottom of the south-eastern slopes (lift 7B).
The trail continues by the side of the forest on the left side of the slopes. Shortly after the trail divides: Take the trail to the left for a slightly shorter and more even trail. If you are looking for more of a challenge, head right where you will find more hills. The two paths merge back into one trail about 1km before South Point.
South Point is the end of the winter biking trail. To get back to Levi centre, head west (the Levi fell should stay on the right-hand side) on Levin Ympärystie. Cycle by the side of the road for 650 meters to the intersection of Levin Ympärystie and Levintie and turn right to the footpath towards Levi. You will reach Levi centre after cycling on the footpath for about 5km.
