A cafe with an adventure playground and fantastic selection of cakes as well as a farm shop with a farm cafe and weekly farm tours await you on this experience route.
Via Kraimoos, you first reach the water tower in Bergham, where display boards explain the function of the former saltworks station. It is worth a photo stop here because you have a wonderful view of Lake Chiemsee and the mountains. The panorama path then leads you further along the old saltworks past impressive mountain farms. The second destination is the Cafe Wastelbauerhof, which scores with a great adventure playground, a sun terrace with lake view, and its impressive selection of cakes and tortes (open in season Thu-Sun 8 am-6 pm).
Then it goes back to Aufing and on to Farbing, where we make a final stop at Sepp'n Bauer. There you can buy farm products in the farm shop (open Wed-Sat), relax in the new cozy farm cafe, or take part in a farm tour with carriage ride on Fridays by prior arrangement (Tel. 080519617222). From the Farbing farm and along the Bernauer Ache, you return to Bernau.
