Equipment
For your own safety: please wear a bicycle helmet! A well-maintained bike is essential. A helmet should be mandatory, and you should also carry a water bottle and energy bars, as there may be long sections without any places to buy supplies. Basic equipment also includes sunglasses, sun cream, a multi-tool, spare inner tube and pump. Ideally, navigation should be via GPX track on a bike computer or smartphone. A small first aid kit and some cash or a card complete the preparations. Then nothing stands in the way of an enjoyable sporting wine experience.Derived from the technical difficulty and the stamina requirements.
