The start and finish of this cross-country ski trail is located in Ramseiden directly at the Saalfelden municipal yard and is an ideal area especially for beginners. The route is also used by the cross-country skiing school.
From the starting point of the trail at the Saalfelden municipal yard, at the cross-country skiing center towards the Urslautal golf course. Small climbs and short downhill sections over open terrain offer ideal conditions especially for beginners to enjoy cross-country skiing.

The entrance to the trail is also the start of the well-known Saalfelden ski marathon. Just like the athletes, you leave the Saalfelden municipal yard, continue flat and pass the Saalfelden allotment gardens. Following the trail, it goes left towards Maria Alm, where you can fully enjoy the magnificent view of the Hochkönig. Here you cross slightly hilly terrain through the forest, where in a loop you go slightly downhill towards the Urslautal golf course. Then you return back to the district of Ramseiden. In the last few meters you run directly towards the massif of the Steinernes Meer and eventually arrive again at the municipal yard in Saalfelden.

By car from the town center of Saalfelden, drive past the Raiffeisenbank Saalfelden towards Ramseiden and follow the road for about 1 km. Park the car on the right at the Saalfelden municipal yard.Parking
