The loop route of 1.15 miles begins and ends at the Hirschberglift. It is groomed for both classic and skating technique, and all biathlon enthusiasts will find a shooting range with laser rifles. A connecting trail to Schärfen and the Sonnenloipe Scharling - Oberhof is also groomed when snowfall permits.
All biathlon enthusiasts have the opportunity to try out the biathlon range with laser rifles directly on the trail at the Tegernsee ski school: www.skischule-tegernsee.de
