Jäätiönlahti ice track 2/4 km, Vuokatti

The Jäätiönlahti ice track continues eastward from the Katinkulta sunshine track (6/10 km). The wide, two-way track runs along the eastern shore of Jäätiönlahti and is skiable both in classical and freestyle techniques. The round-trip length of the route is four kilometers.

From the track, you can easily access the accommodation sites located on the shore of Jäätiönlahti: Vuokatinranta, Hotel Vuokatti, and Vuokatinmaa, as well as the connecting track leading to Vuokatti Sports Institute; the route can be started from several different departure points.

Along the way, you can detour to the Jäätiölampi lean-to shelter, which is about 200 meters from the ice track. The lean-to has a fireplace and a woodshed.
