Hepovaara trail 12 km, Paljakka

The Hepovaara trail starts immediately near the parking area of the Paljakka slope area. From the starting point, ski about two kilometers until you reach the underpass tunnel of Hoikanvaara Road. After the underpass, you pass the hut near the shore of Rakennusjärvi, where you can take a break as you wish either on the way out or back. Continue the route forward about 100 meters until you come to a bend where you turn right, and soon after you come to a junction where you need to turn right. Less than a kilometer later, at the next crossing of two trails, continue right toward Hepovaara. At the same time, the most demanding part of the trail with uphill begins. The Hepovaara loop is about five kilometers long, and after the loop, you return to the previous trail junction, where you turn right. Continue skiing about one kilometer until you arrive at a junction where you turn right, and soon you are again near the hut by the shore. After that, follow the same route you came back to the starting point.
