The trail starts on Feldstraße at the Voitlhof inn towards Ellmau to Unterwallberg.
From there, it goes over hilly terrain towards Enterrottach and back to Unterwallberg, merges into the Ellmau loop, and runs via Kalkofen back to Feldstraße. The trail has 8.5 km groomed for classic and 6.3 km groomed for skating style.

A nice place to stop is the Café Gäuwagerl on Feldstraße and the Almhof inn in Enterrottach.
