The circuit around the Zugspitze with the e-bike takes us over Griesen, the Ehrwalder Alm, the Gaistal, and Mittenwald.
After the flat start along the Loisach, the climb to the Ehrwalder Alm at around 1,600 meters presents a real challenge that is manageable with e-bike support. Alternatively, the Ehrwalder Almbahn cable car can also be used. Afterwards, it goes downhill again and we can enjoy the view of the Wetterstein mountain range. Additionally, along this route you can refresh yourself wonderfully in one of the numerous beautiful mountain lakes in the region, for example in the Ferchensee. Shortly before Mittenwald, we cross the German border and shortly after reach Garmisch-Partenkirchen again.

From Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the route goes in a wide arc north of the Eibsee to Ehrwald. From here we continue on the steeply climbing path past the valley station of the Ehrwalder Almbahn cable car, finally reaching the Tirolerhaus at the mountain station of the cable car after some effort. It is worth taking an extended break here. Then it goes downhill initially in the direction of Mittenwald. From there, we return to the starting point in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
