Windachsee

A varied route that begins with a boat ride to Diessen. From Diessen, it goes mostly along natural roads to Windachsee. Depending on the weather and season, the Windachsee-Alm is open and ideal for a stopover. (Check opening hours online at www.windachseealm.com). From the reservoir, the path mainly leads along side roads to Schöndorf and over the Blue Bridge to Stegen. There is a small obstacle to overcome, namely crossing the Windach shortly after the reservoir. Most of the time this is problem-free. If this is not possible, the spot can be bypassed via Oberfinning. From Stegen, the route goes back to Herrsching via Breitbrunn and Ellwang.
