Route description:
Liebenburg - Hofeld-Mauschbach - Roschberg - Grügelborn - Reitscheid - Asweiler - Wolfersweiler - Mosberg-Richweiler - Heisterberg - Namborn - Liebenburg
After a first long ascent, you reach Roschberg, and from there the path continues to Grügelborn. At the foot of the Weiselberg, you can recover a bit on the flat Fritz-Wunderlich-Weg, a former railway track. It is worth briefly parking your bike here and hiking to the summit of the mountain, as you will be rewarded with a magnificent view. Continuing on the cycle path, the Weiselberg cycle route separates from the former railway track and goes through an idyllic valley to Asweiler. Via Wolfersweiler and Mosberg-Richweiler, with the space studio that invites all guests to be taken into the vastness of the planetary world, we continue through open fields and meadows to Namborn and finally back to Liebenburg. From its tower, you can enjoy a fascinating panoramic view over the gently rolling landscape with its colorful fields, green meadows, and forests.
