4.0/4.5 On the LF7 cycle route we cycle along the North Holland Canal to junction 36 (shortly after the A10 motorway).

1.6/6.1 The LF7 turns west, we continue cycling northeast along the canal to a ferry.

0.7/6.8 By ferry across the canal and to junction 38.

3.2/10.0 On the south side of a canal to junction 1 in Bruek in Waterland.

4.0/14.0 In the village north, then east- and northeastwards to junction 2.

3.4/17.4 Eastwards to junction 55 in Monnickendam.

2.2/19.6 On cycle route LF21 out to Markenmeer and southwards to junction 54.

1.6/21.2 Further on LF21 westwards to Zuiderwoude to junction 57.

/ If we want to shorten the route, we can cycle directly from junction 1 in Bruek in Waterland to junction 57 (about 14 km shorter!).

0.6/21.8 Southwards to junction 75.

2.7/24.5 We leave LF21 and cycle eastwards to junction 77 in Uitdam on the Ijsselmeer.

8.1/32.6 Now on the dam of the Ijsselmeer southwestwards to junction 79.

3.6/36.2 Further southwest on the dam, with the Ijsselmeer on the left, the Kinselmeer on the right to junction 47.

1.8/38.0 Turn right and northwards on LF21B to junction 44 north of Ransdorp.

0.9/38.9 Westwards along the Weerslot canal to junction 43. Leave LF21!

0.9/39.8 Continue westwards along the canal to junction 45 on the edge of Amsterdam Schellingwoude.

1.2/41.0 On the outskirts southwards, then westwards to junction 46 near the A10 motorway.

3.2/44.2 Now we are back on cycle route LF21, cross the IJ and cycle to junction 52 in Amsterdam Indische Buurt.

4.2/48.4 Now westwards on Zeeburgerdijk, then northwards along the railway to junction 5 behind the station.
