From Friedburg, follow the "Triftweg" via Teichstäät to Munderfing. At the exit of Munderfing, turn right off the main road. Continue through Äpfelberg, Unterweinberg, Stallhofen, Langwiedmoos, Ober- and Unterharlochen to Schalchen. Here, first turn right on the main road and in a long curve near an inn, after about 300 m leave the main road to the left and initially follow the course of the creek. Via Oberholzleiten and Mitterholzleiten, head towards St. Florian. The church with its pointed tower can be seen from afar. It is worth visiting the peace memorial and the war cemetery arranged around the church. Continuing, go left below the church and head towards Helpfau. Pass the church, then turn right to Uttendorf. At the intersection with Braunauer Straße, turn left onto the market square. At the west end of the square, a beautiful view opens to the right of Kalvarienberg with the castle chapel. About 100 m further, turn right off the main road and follow the Mattig for just under 1 km. At the beginning of the climb, at a right curve, turn left onto R24 the Mattigtal path, which runs here along the Siedelberg southwards. Behind Oberlindach, join the main road to Gundertshausen. Here briefly turn right. Then in the next right curve leave this road again by turning left. Shortly after, there is a short, steeper climb towards Sollern. Then it goes down to Pfaffstätt, further to Jeging and via Abern to Unter- and Oberweißau. Via Scherschham reach Lochen and turn off to Intenham. Via Intenham and Bach go back to Teichstätt or Lengau and from there back to Friedburg.
