Třebíčsko Nature Park

We will ride around the Lubí reservoir, past the settlement Ptáčov and the village Trnava to Náramče, which we will not visit, but we will go along the dam of the Gbel pond to the left onto cycle route 5109. We ascend past a farm building and behind it reach a crossroads and change the route to 5112. This will lead us around Hodovský pond to Rudíkov, Hroznatín and Benetice. Beyond Benetice we leave route 5112 and head to cycle route 103. During the subsequent climb, we will turn right onto the green route leading to the crossroads Pod Jelení hlavou. We turn right onto the yellow route and arrive at the Velký Javor crossroads. Slightly above it is an approximately 650-year-old maple tree.

From the Velký Javor crossroads, we will continue on the yellow route towards Čechtín, where we will turn onto a second-class road heading to Račeřovice. After 2.6 kilometers, we turn left towards Okřešice, which is also on cycle route 5214. After one kilometer beyond Okřešice, we arrive at the crossroads near Budíkovice, where we leave route 5214 and turn right again onto cycle route 103, which will lead us back to Třebíč through the district of Týn. When leaving U Kuchyňky street, we do not have to descend the main road down to the river but can go straight into U Obůrky street. This street leads us through the castle park directly to the castle, which is also the seat of the Vysočina Museum Třebíč, and the Basilica of St. Procopius, where we will end our trip today in order to have time to visit, for example, the exhibition "Journeys through Time" or the Jewish quarter with a number of landmarks including the Rear Synagogue or the House of Seligmann Bauer.
