Take enough to drink with you, there are hardly any opportunities to refill water.
If you want to drive by car to the start, you could go directly to the Inzersdorf Cemetery; there is a parking lot here (1230, Vienna, Kolbegasse 34). This is also a possible start-finish point.

Starting at the U6, we ride the bike path along the U6 towards the south. We cross Zanaschkagasse and also the following bridge over the A23 motorway. Turn left into Danilovatzgasse and then right again into Brändströmgasse, then continue left into Tuschlgasse. At the end of the alley is the blue bridge over the Liesing. After the bridge, turn left onto the Liesingbach bike path. We follow this until the roundabout in Schwechat. At the 2nd exit we leave the roundabout and ride 237m down Schwarzmühlgasse.
Just before Schwechat, turn right onto the bike path, which leads us past Rothmühle Castle and the stadium. Following the track, we cross the Schwechat, which we follow until it meets the Neubach. At the end of Himberg we cross the Neubach and leave it. The bike path leads about 2.7 km through meadows and fields to a bridge over the Triesting.
Following the Triesting, we cross it occasionally, leaving it and meeting it again. In Günselsdorf, we say goodbye to the Triesting for good, cross the Triesterstraße and head to the Thermenradweg and the Wiener Neustadt Canal (about 2 km).
From now on, we go north along the canal. In Guntramsdorf, we could stop at the Teichheuriger to strengthen ourselves. The route continues over the A2 motorway, where you have to decide: continue along the dam or make a detour to Laxenburg for an ice cream. We chose Laxenburg. On weekends, however, it is not advisable to want ice cream because there are queues of people in front of the shop!
From Laxenburg we reach the planned bike path again and cycle through fields to Biedermannsdorf. There is also a refreshment stop here: Gartenheuriger (Ortsstraße 78, 2362 Biedermannsdorf).
Our path leads us about 270 m on the main road to the bike path, which we follow to the right. Through meadows and fields, first a slight descent, then there is an ascent to Schönbrunner Alle. Shortly left and immediately right again to continue on the bike path. In Vösendorf, the bike path stays on the sidewalk until crossing the main road. Following the signage (track), we come to the bridge over the expressway S1. Here there are 2 options to choose from: the left path does not go as high as the right, lower down there is natural ground. The bike path ends at Kolbegasse (Inzersdorf Cemetery). The subsequent bike path takes us to the Liesingbach bike path and further to our starting point at the U6.
