Connect the Rhine and Nibelungen city Worms with the delightful Zellertal and the lower Rhine terrace in a square loop. The route starts at the Rhine promenade in Worms. From here, it goes across the city on a relaxed valley section out into the Zellertal until the Hiwwel-Route swings into the Wonnegau towards Flörsheim-Dalsheim. The Mill Cycling Route then leads enjoyably into the wine villages of Westhofen and Osthofen into the Rhine plain and back to the cathedral city via the Rhine terrace route.

    Kolb's Biergarten in Worms
A must at the end of the cycling route – relax in the shade of the plane trees on the Rhine promenade.

    Roadbook

Whether right at the start of the cycling route or at the end as a crowning conclusion, Worms has a lot to offer: the Nibelungen Bridge and Museum, the Hagen Monument, the Worms Cathedral, and more. The scenic city center is led through by the Hiwwel-Route along the Pfrimm to the nearby Monsheim with its Renaissance castle and the castle mill. Then it goes north through the Wonnegau, where it becomes hilly again. Worth seeing is the "Fleckenmauer" in Flörsheim-Dalsheim, a medieval town fortification. The descents towards Westhofen are then relaxing. Here the Seebach springs, which gives direction to the following Mill Cycling Route. Past the distinctive vineyard tower "Leckzapfen" in Osthofen, the route heads back towards Worms and goes past the impressive Herrnsheim Castle back to the Nibelungen city.

The route runs on four different cycle paths; pay attention to changes in markings at transitions.
