The project started in March, from the source of the Raab to the Danube, could thus be completed.
In 3 days from Passail, in the Almenland to Györ in Hungary.
My return route took me again from Györ via Oberpullendorf back to Neustift an der Lafnitz.
These 5 days were a very varied route, with sun, rain and headwind, everything was present.
I planned my routes so that I reach an average of about 100 km per day. This results in a cycling day of about 6 hours 20 minutes per day and that is okay for me.
My stops Fehring, Sarvar, Györ, Oberpullendorf and Neustift an der Lafnitz.
The weather in these 5 days had everything that exists.
The start in Passail, very fresh. From St. Margarethen an der Raab to Fehring in rain gear. From Fehring to Sarvar a chilly sunny day until the end.
From Sarvar to Györ about 80 km in the rain, the rest of the stage very fresh.
From Györ to Oberpullendorf a sunny day, but with very strong headwind.
Oberpullendorf to Neustift an der Lafnitz, very fresh, rain, headwind and finally sunshine, so all weather extremes you could wish for. This was also the reason why I ended the stage in Neustift an der Lafnitz, I was so cold from the rain and wind that it was no longer fun to cycle further.
