Toblach-Cortina: the Dolomites cycle path
The cycle path from Toblach to Cortina takes you along the venerable railway line from the Gustav Mahler village of Toblach over the Cimabanche Pass into the Olympic village of Cortina. After just a few kilometers, you reach Lake Toblach, inviting you to rest. The route passes the Kriegerfriedehof to the Drei Zinnen viewpoint where the Dolomites' landmark, the Drei Zinnen, can be seen. Then it continues past Lake Landro up to Cimabanche, the highest point of your journey, before going through old railway tunnels and over bridges to Cortina.
For those who do not want to cycle back, there is the option of a transfer (bookable at Dolomiti Slowbike).
The cycle path continues downhill to Calalzo from where a return trip by Bik’n Bus is also possible.
