Through Jesenice

An easy bike route takes us through Jesenice and the surrounding area. From Blejska Dobrava, the path leads past Slovenski Javornik, Koroška Bela, through Jesenice to Hrušica and beneath the slopes of the high-altitude karst plateau Mežakla, past the museum area Old Sava, through Podmežakla and Lipce back to Blejska Dobrava. We cycle on side roads with less traffic, partly also on gravel paths. Due to numerous junctions and crossroads, the bike route is challenging to navigate.

Points of interest along the way: Murova (the oldest part of Jesenice), Kosova manor, Church of St. Leonard, museum area Old Sava, Upper Sava Museum Jesenice, Memorial Park in Koroška Bela, oak in forma viva in Koroška Bela
