Thermal route, Kisvárda - Sárospatak

Our bike route passes through the Bodrogköz area dotted with oxbows, where important trade routes ran in the 18th century. We cycle all the way to Sárospatak, which is renowned as an indispensable bastion of Hungarian Reformed life, as in the 16th century it was home to the country's most significant educational institution, the Reformed College. Furthermore, it hosts the Sárospatak Castle, known from the 500 forint note, from where a short ride leads to the much younger thermal bath, whose water soothes the traveler after the well-deserved long ride.
