On this longer route, we head south along the Danube where, next to the nature reserve, you can find the so-called Liberland, which a few people have declared a mini-state on 7 square kilometers, although apart from nature there is nothing there. Then we turn east towards Zombor, which has a beautiful main square, from where we travel through the villages of Bácska to arrive at the pinkish salt lake spa in Pacsér.
Author’s recommendation
It is definitely worth stopping for a while in the city center of Zombor and looking around!
