The only winery in the Vysočina Region

From the bus station in Třebíč, take Bike Route 26 (Jihlava–Třebíč–Raabs), which will take you through the Libuše Valley to the Terůvky junction. From there, continue straight past Třebíč and turn right at the first fork toward Slavice. From Slavice, follow the bike trail to the Pekelný kopec observation tower. It stands 26.5 meters tall, and once you’ve climbed all 125 steps of the spiral staircase, you can see landmarks such as the Náměšť Castle or Moravské Budějovice from the observation tower.

From the observation tower, head back to bike trail 26 and continue to Mastník and Kojetice. In Kojetice, join the yellow trail (the Třebíč Circuit) and follow it up to the junction, where you can visit the Sádek Wine and Cultural Center—the only winery in the Vysočina region. They produce wines from varieties such as Sauvignon, Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Moravian Muscat, Hibernal, Blue Portugal, and Frankovka. Be sure to walk the wine trail here as well, and cap off your nearly two-kilometer journey through the vineyards with a delightful wine tasting.

From the castle, follow the yellow trail downhill into the Rokytná River valley. After crossing the river, you’ll climb briefly along the road, and after about 300 meters, turn onto a paved forest road. Later, turn left onto bike trail 5217 and ride down a gravel path out of the forest. You’ll pass through Rokytnice nad Rokytnou, Markvartice, and Čechočovice until you reach Starče.

From Starče, follow the main road toward Třebíč until you come to a bike path. Follow it for a comfortable ride all the way to Borovinský Pond. Along the way, you’ll pass a soccer field, cross a railroad crossing, and ride along the Jihlava River to the Podklášterský Bridge, where the route ends.
