The Speyerbach-Rehbach route first leads from Neustadt along the Palatia cycle path beside the Speyerbach to north of Hahnhofen, then follows the Kaiser-Konrad cycle path to Böhl-Iggelheim, from where it returns along the Rehbach to Neustadt.
The Speyerbach is a 60 km long left tributary of the Rhine. It originates near Speyerbrunn in the Palatinate Forest and flows into the Rhine at Speyer. In the Neustadt district of Winzingen, the Rehbach is diverted to the left with one-third of the Speyerbach's water volume at the Winzinger Wassergescheid, becoming a distributary arm of the Speyerbach. The Rehbach flows into the Rhine after 29 km south of Ludwigshafen.
The routes “In the Speyer Forest” and “Speyerbach-Rehbach Tour” can be combined into a 66 km circular route.
