Starting from Kreuzstrasse, go uphill on the main road towards Sollach. Immediately after the long right curve, turn left following the signpost to Hohendilching.
Then go straight ahead until Unterdarching. There, either follow Münchnerstr. to the left or take the second right turn to Mitterdarching. We cross the A8 via a tunnel and continue to the town center, where we turn left into Raiffeisenstr.
Follow Raiffeisenstr. straight ahead, then turn left and continue straight along a field (barely visible meadow path) to a section with trees. The forbiddance sign for riders indicates the spot where the steep and rocky path leads down into the Mühltal. We cross the BOB railway tracks (tunnel) and descend the gravel path into the Mühltal.
At the Bruckmühle guesthouse turn left onto St. 2073, pass under the motorway bridge and then turn right towards Maxlmühle.
Here it goes gently downhill along the Mangfall to Maxlmühle. Just after the guesthouse, turn steeply uphill to the left, following the gravel path until after some switchbacks we meet Münchnerstraße at the top. We do not take this but turn right towards Valley.
In Valley, pass the brewery with the restaurant and then a rather steep section with several ups and downs until Sonderdilching.
At the village end, turn left and follow Gruberstr. to Kleinhöhenkirchen.
In Kleinhöhenkirchen, drive towards the church, pass left and after a right curve enjoy the moderately steep descent to Grub or Grubmühle. We cross the Mangfall via a bridge before it becomes quite strenuous again towards Grub.
At the Bayernkamelen turn left onto the main road towards Kreuzstraße, where the route ends.
