The 36 km long circular bike route also passes by the "Sickinger Höhe" museum in Queidersbach, where visitors can get an overview from the prehistory to the recent past of the region.
The Sickinger Höhe is a landscape in the southwest of Rhineland-Palatinate, whose eastern border is formed by the Palatinate Forest. The Sickinger Höhe was named after the noble family Sickinger, who owned most of the area in the Middle Ages. The Sickinger Höhe cycling route runs along the western edge of the Palatinate Forest and leads onto the high plateau of the Sickinger Höhe above the Queidersbach, from where there is a magnificent panoramic view over the Palatinate Forest.

The starting point of the circular route is the station in Waldfischbach-Burgalben. Via Bahnhofstraße you reach the main street of Waldfischbach-Burgalben, where you follow the signage of the Southwest Palatinate bike route southwards. You leave Waldfischbach via Hoheneinöder Straße towards Hermersberg and turn left onto an asphalted path following the signage of the Southwest Palatinate bike route on K 23. This path first gently, then steeply after 3 km, goes through the romantic Klappertal valley past the Hermersberger Wasserhaus (refreshment option) to Hermersberg. After Hermersberg, you cycle on the roadside bike path to Weselberg. Before Weselberg, you leave the Southwest Palatinate bike route and branch onto the Sickinger Mühlenradweg towards Landstuhl. You stay on this bike path until Bann, enjoying the fantastic panoramic view over the Palatinate Forest and the Sickinger Höhe. From Bann you follow the signage to Queidersbach and from Queidersbach the signage to Waldfischbach-Burgalben. After Queidersbach, you cycle slightly downhill through Linden, Horbach and Steinalben on the Palatinate Forest bike path along the Queidersbach and after Steinalben along the Moosalb back to the starting point Waldfischbach-Burgalben.
