Tourist Information Feuchtwangen
In the north, the residential city of Würzburg with its wine growing. Through the lovely Tauber valley you reach the medieval little town Rothenburg o.d.T. Via the Franconian Heights near Schillingsfürst, it goes on through the Frankenhöhe Nature Park into the cloister town of Feuchtwangen. The route from Feuchtwangen to Dinkelsbühl is the most forested stage of the whole bike path. It first passes numerous carp ponds before following the Wörnitz river to Dinkelsbühl. From Dinkelsbühl, it continues to Nördlingen, Augsburg, and Landsberg. In the south, the Pfaffenwinkel awaits with the Wies Church and finally the royal castles near Schwangau.
The path is continuously well signposted and has been awarded three stars by the ADFC.
