Roadbook
"This mountain can also be skipped by ignoring the turnoff and continuing straight ahead. Continue to Reichental to the Biedermeier cycle path and then turn left towards Gutenstein."
The climb to Waidmannsfeld is quite steep! But then it goes gently downhill into the Biedermeier Valley (Piesting Valley). Here you meet the B21, which you follow to the right for a short distance. After about 200m turn left and follow the Biedermeier cycle path to Gutenstein. After Hoyos Castle turn right and ride to the B21, here turn right and after about 40m turn left into the valley of the Steinapiesting. This is a very pretty valley that goes gently uphill for about 6 km and is pleasant to ride. Then it goes up a steep mountain road with many curves to Haselrast (226 meters of altitude). Now the path leads downhill and is quite relaxing. In 10-15 minutes you reach Rohr im Gebirge, where there is a fountain with Grander water. It's time for a lunch break!
From now on it goes downhill and also somewhat uphill down to Schwarzau im Gebirge. From Singerin (short climb) you ride further into the Höllental. Unfortunately, the road to Gloggnitz is busier - so be careful! The route from Gloggnitz to Ternitz alternates between side roads and sometimes quite nice cycle paths. In Ternitz you have reached the start and finish point.
