A flat trail along the Sava River, for nature lovers and lovers of beautiful viewpoints. Suitable for families, individuals and groups, for walkers and cyclists.
The route, symbolically named after an ancient river deity, combines the interpretation of natural and cultural heritage in an innovative way.The 5-kilometre circular route is easy and suitable for individual and group hikers and cyclists due to its completely flat terrain. You can also rent an electric bike at the trailhead. Ride past the Savus Recreation Park, under the Dvor Park, where many exotic trees abound, and on along one of the most beautiful fishing routes in Europe. Along the way, you can try out innovative playgrounds or learn about the local fauna and flora with the help of informative signs. Passing the Fishermen's Village, the route also leads you to the so-called Pecikl plac - where cyclists can rest and, if necessary, carry out minor repairs on their bikes.

The stops at the individual information boards located along the Savus Trail will be useful and informative. Take your time to familiarise yourself with the content of the boards and you will certainly learn many interesting things about local traditions and the local fauna and flora.

Radeče railway station, approx. 1 km from the trailhead.
Directions
From the Celje - Krško regional road, turn into the town of Radeče and drive to the harbour of the Radeče raft. Here you can find the Flosar Guesthouse, where you can park. The starting point of the cycle route is also located here.
