This route offers you the chance to discover some iconic sites in the Cattenom area and surroundings: the medieval town of Rodemack, the Usselskirch bell tower while admiring along the route these witnesses of the past with their very particular architecture: the Bildstocks!
Stop in Rodemack for a visit in one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France®. Wander around and admire the many testimonies of its past such as the fortified gate of "Sierck", its medieval garden, and the twin towers of the citadel.
Make a detour around Mirgenbach lake (subject to temporary closure by EDF) and go discover the works of the Maginot Line. You might meet the guardians of these places, a wonderful team of volunteers sometimes dressed in period costume...
