Panoramic ride

On paved and car-free forest paths, the route gently ascends from Dobel past the "Stierhütte" to the "Weithäusle", including beautiful views. At the eight-rayed forest crossroads at the "Weithäusle" we take the "exit" towards the "Hahnenfalzweg", which also coincides with the route of the "Westweg". What comes next is breathtaking and culminates in the view from the "Schweizerkopf-Hütte". The route continues on the "Hahnenfalzweg" to the "Hinteren Steigle", which leads down to the "Ächtlersweg". We turn left and ascend to the "Hahnenfalzhütte" (occasionally with the possibility to stop for refreshments). After another 600 m, at the hairpin bend, we turn right onto the path towards the "Teufelsmühle". We pass the "Stone Bench" and after about 1.7 km reach the connecting road from Loffenau to the "Teufelsmühle". Turning left, it is only another 200 m up to the "Teufelsmühle" with its inn and observation tower. On the gravel path we continue towards the "Ahornwasen", but 100 m before the hut turn left onto the ascending path to the "Langmartskopf-Hütte". At this point you can see the "Hohloh Tower" and the towers on the somewhat more distant "Hornisgrinde". The path continues without much ascent southwards to the "Kreuzlehütte" and from there towards the "Helenahütte", which we only pass about 100 m away. On the "Upper Horn Path" we circle in a wide arc around the "Wildsee High Moor". About 1 km before the "Weißensteinhütte" a side path leads left to the "Jägerschaukel" above the "Altloch Cirque". From here the view extends over the "Brotenau valley" back to Dobel. From the "Weißensteinhütte" we follow the signs towards the "Grünhütte". Refreshed in the rustic inn, we head homewards towards

"Lehenbrückle" and continue on the "Old Line Path" towards "Kleiner Wendenstein" and "Schimhütte". Shortly after the "Schirmhütte" we turn sharply left, then after another 100 m sharply right again. On the "Pfeiffersweg" we enjoy the long descent to the "Eyachmühle". In the inn "Eyachmühle" one can excellent prepare for the ascent through the "Mannenbach valley". From the inn we initially take the driveway to Dobel, then after about 200 m turn left onto the "Lower Mannenbach Path". After about 2 km we cross the "Carl-Postweiler Path" and after another 500 m turn right onto the "Lehmannsweg", where we reach the Dobel southwest at the "Chestnut Crossroads". On the Dobel height we then reach the destination "Kurhaus" via Wildbad street.
