My tip for your route: A small detour and then having an ice cream at Damm's Hofcafé in Rauschenberg. A real treat!

Roadbook
From Kirchhain, the route follows the small river Wohra, which separates the Burgwald plateau from the heights of the Kellerwald. Passing Rauschenberg and through the village of Wohra, it continues to Gemünden. Beyond Gemünden, the route turns into the Schweinfetal valley with its rural and secluded hamlets to climb the Rhine-Weser watershed at its valley end. At Haubern, the view opens into the Eder valley with a magnificent panorama of the Rothaar Mountains and the so-called Waldecker Upland. The destination of the route is the town of Frankenberg with its impressive half-timbered town hall featuring ten towers.
