Maypole Tour

The cyclists of the "Maypole Tour" start from the town center, Beilhackstraße, and turn left at the next intersection. At the roundabout, take the last exit towards Frasdorf. On the main road RO 22, turn right at the next junction and continue following the path to Otterkring. There, keep left and go through Burgersdorf to Rimsting. At the end of Burgersdorfer Straße, turn left and then immediately right at the next opportunity. Passing the cemetery via Oberdorfstraße, continue on the Höhenweg to the outskirts of Rimsting. From there, take the bike path along the main road St 2092 to Bad Endorf. In Bad Endorf, cross the railway tracks and follow Ströbinger- and Geigelsteinstraße. Then turn right onto Hochriesstraße and shortly thereafter go under the railway tracks again until you reach the cemetery and the church with the second maypole. Continue on the main road towards Halfing (after about 300 meters, you can switch to the bike path along the main road). The cyclists follow the state road for about three and a half kilometers. At the junction towards the district of Eberloh, keep left and then immediately right towards Kiesgrube. Maypole Tour continues on this road section until Schulstraße, where you turn right. Via Rosenheimer Straße, you reach the center of Halfing. Passing the church heading east, cyclists take the next left turn before immediately turning left again. Along Moosstraße, follow the Freimoos moor educational trail. After passing the viewing platform, continue to the right. Following the signs, reach Amerang and turn right onto Wasserburger Straße, where you turn left at the next opportunity. The route then leads right onto Obinger Straße and continues following the green signs to Taiding. From there, go to Meilham and after the small district on the main road, turn left again. About one kilometer later, you reach the district of Obergebertsham and after another two kilometers, you arrive at the maypole in Höslwang. From there, go downhill to the next intersection where you keep left and at the next opportunity turn right. Following the route via Gachensolden and Pelham, you arrive at Hemhof. Upon arrival, cross the main road at the end of the street towards Rimsting. After leaving the wooded area, pass the Kurkuma until the end of the street. On the other side, follow a narrowing path along the railway tracks on the so-called "Alfredweg" to Schafwaschen. Here, go left downhill before immediately turning right onto the Chiemsee circular route. At "Prien", go over Weidachstraße back towards Prien. After about 600 meters, turn right into Neugartenstraße. Passing the cemetery and the local history museum, cyclists ride to the maypole at the marketplace of Prien. Via Alte Rathausstraße, return to the parking lot.
