The route extends across the districts of Coburg, Lichtenfels, Kronach, and Bamberg. The route starts in Coburg and goes via Seßlach, Zapfendorf, and Ebensfeld to Bad Staffelstein. Then it continues via Lichtenfels, Schwürbitz, Redwitz a. d. Rodach, Beikheim, Schmolz, and Neuses to Kronach. From there, the path leads via Mitwitz to Neustadt near Coburg and through Rödental before the final section runs through Bad Rodach and Meeder back to Coburg. The diversity of the Franconian cultural landscape is impressively displayed along this varied route.
