Magic Triangle

The approximately 76 km circular route leads through the Segringer Gate to Ellwangen. There the route branches off onto the Kocher-Jagst Cycle Path to Crailsheim. In Crailsheim, the cycle path is signposted to Dinkelsbühl. In the last section, the route runs from Deuenbach along the long-distance cycle route Romantic Road. The route can be completed in about five hours by e-bike. 

The wild romantic discovery trail in Ellenberg could be the first stop. The trail playfully brings the local forest closer to big and small visitors. Barefoot path, maze, a natural Kneipp pool, and much more await visitors. In Ellwangen, there is the historic old town with its impressive churches and proud townhouses on the marketplace to visit. Numerous lakes for swimming, as well as sailing, surfing, and fishing, such as the Häslestausee, the Sonnenbachsee or the Fischbachsee invite you to stay.

Along the excellent Kocher-Jagst Cycle Path, which is one of the most beautiful in Germany in terms of landscape, one reaches the town of Crailsheim accompanied by the two rivers Kocher and Jagst. Here, you should definitely visit the Diebsturm, the Johanneskirche or the Town Museum in the hospital.

On the way back to Dinkelsbühl, the Wörnitz River meanders. Upon arriving in the old town, you can expect an almost unchanged townscape for over 400 years with stately church buildings and rich half-timbered architecture. A closed ring of walls, towers, and gates surround what Focus calls "Germany's most beautiful old town."
