From Aisch, head west on the Aisch Valley bike path to Höchstadt. From there, always follow the left side of the Aisch along Sterpersdorf and Demantsfürth to Dachsbach. At the very beginning of the village, we leave the bike path and ride uphill on the connecting road to Linden. The well-frequented Keller often requires a wait on nice days to get not only a snack but also "warm food" – so this Keller is already not a typically Franconian Keller anymore.
After the refreshment, we ride directly downhill from the Keller to Birnbaum. At the country inn "Zur Hammerschmiede" we keep left, then turn right onto "Junker Bleimann Street" into the forest, following the field and bike path along the idyllic chain of ponds to Kästel. At Kästel, the path goes steeply uphill to the right – sometimes you might want to dismount ;-)
After the climb, turn immediately left onto the field/bike path, so do not continue on the road to Emelsdorf! At the hilltop, the highest point of the tour, you have a great view over the Steigerwald.
We ride downhill and after about 200 m, turn left on the road from Emelsdorf towards Weisendorf. Soon we reach a long chain of ponds, after the fourth pond we turn right towards Oberreichenbach.
In the center of Oberreichenbach, keep left and ride to Unterreichenbach.
At the end of the village, turn left uphill and follow the bike path to Buch near Weisendorf. On arriving in Buch, first keep right, then turn left at the village exit towards Welkenbach. In Welkenbach, ride up Margaritenstraße towards Küchenstudio Weller and continue on the connecting road to Beutelsdorf – by the way, the only stretch on the road.
In the center of Beutelsdorf, turn left at the roundabout and reach first Untermembach and then Heßdorf on a well-developed bike path. From Heßdorf it is only a stone's throw to Hannberg, always keeping the interesting fortified church in Hannberg in view.
After visiting the fortified church, ride on the bike path to Niederlindach. Since there is no bike path between Klebheim and Neuhaus, and the road through the forest is unclear and risky for cyclists, we turn left in Niederlindach towards Dannberg to then continue after the village end past the sports field turning right to Hesselberg. Those with time and interest can visit the Mohrhof bird sanctuary here.
From Hesselberg, go right toward Neuhaus, always with a view of the Mohrhof area. In Neuhaus, keep right and finally visit the Löwenbräu rock cellar.
After a solid snack, it's easy riding on a well-developed bike path to Adelsdorf and across the Aisch into the district of Aisch.
